Hey race fans we are currently looking for local clubs like 4 wheel drive clubs that would like to be part of our events. You might be in our track crew or showing off your sparkling hot rod pick up but join us now!

Billings Demo Aug 13th with photos

The Billings Day of Destruction did not turn out like we wanted but even without any combines this was one heck of show.
Radiators blowing, tires exploding, motors locking up, engines screaming, and the crowd cheering for their favorite driver and booing their un-favorite driver it is all about Demolition Derby and this past Saturday August 13th we had a good one.
Check out the video’s of a hard hitting drivers we had in the small car class and in the big car demo classes. We appreciate the crowd of over 2000 spectators that came to our show!

Bounty Hunter joins CFP Summer Nationals!

We have confirmation that at least one truck from Jimmy Creten’s former World Champion BOUNTY HUNTER Monster Truck Team will be at several selected events this summer.
“It all started a couple of months back when one of the Bounty Hunter drivers (Darren) called me the week of the Pocatello Grand Nationals. Darren and Jimmy and another one of their drivers were traveling across the country on their way to another show in Washington and knew of our big event. What started out being a phone call to ask if they could stop by and watch the show ended in bring your two trucks and join the fun!,” said Ed Beckley of CFP.
The team showed up after nearly 900 mile overnight trip and ran the Bounty Hunter and Iron Outlaw trucks hard! They put on an awesome show just like always and they all had a good time. Conversation struck up and it was clear that Ed’s old friend wanted to do more dates for us. Creten had basically started witho Ed and Checkered Flag when he came into the business and has never forgot.
Right then we knew it was time to get more involvment with TV trucks and so we started talking about upcoming dates. Today they confirmed they would be racing in our events at our Summer Nationals in Greeley, Colorado on June 18th, then the following weekend in Billings, Montana for the TORNADO Nationals on June 24-25th and then also in Garden City on September 3rd and 4th with the Budweiser Summer Nationals.
One thing for sure adding these dates with the bigtime Team shows the committment we have from trucks that have been doing business with Ed Beckley for over 15 years.

BARBARIAN MONSTER TRUCK GOING TO SCHOOL
BARBARIAN, a 10 foot tall 9,000 pound monster truck is going to school on Thursday in Pocatello. The Jefferson Elementary students will get a thrill of a lifetime as the Barbarian driver, Devin Jones from Oklahoma, will show up at the school just before the school day is over.
Jones is in town to race his truck at the Monster Truck Grand Nationals at the ISU Holt Arena this Saturday and he is excited to be part of this event. When asked what it is like being the driver of BARBARIAN, Jones states “It’s not so much being the driver, but seeing the kids smiling faces is why we do what we do.”
There is special 2nd grader at Jefferson who this visit is dedicated to, and his name is Dakota Wilson. Dakota is 8 years old and is “a darling little boy, and a very good student, always doing his work to the best of his ability.” says Carolue Klitgaard, the secretary at Jefferson. Jones has never done this and he said, “I am happy to be part of this and the chance to put a smile on Dakota’s face as well as the other kids is what I live for.”
While at Jefferson Elementary the driver Devin Jones will be visiting with the entire 2nd grade, and show them this huge truck. Dakota, his sister Kimberly as well as his parents Danielle and Craig will all have the VIP treatment at the Monster Truck show. All this is dedicated to Dakota and his fight for a healthy life.

NOTE: DAKOTA has been diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot, which is a congenital heart defect.

There Barbarian will show off the truck, and the driver will answer questions and interact with the students. Dakota will be allowed to sit in the Monster Truck and Dakota is a bright kid and can be interviewed.
When: Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 1:45 pm. Plans are for the students to spend about 30 minutes with the Truck and the Driver.

Summer is around the corner and many race tracks and speedways are gearing up for hopefully the best season ever. County and State fairs are scrambling for a new entertainment property they can offer to their fair goers and we have something for all race tracks and fairs.
If your group has been thinking about what it would cost or how you can get involved in Monster Trucks, Mud Bogs, Thrill Shows, Arenacross and Motocross Races we are your one stop source. With 40 years of putting on events like this and more there is no one anymore in touch with what your race track or Fair might need and how to make it work.
Packages for entertainment at your venue are available with a wide sweep of costs to fit almost any budget and time slot you might have.
Race tracks sometimes don’t need a whole 3 hours of show. Sometimes at our race tracks we provide special attractions and backed up with our marketing expertise there is no other promotion group that knows how to help. CFP was awarded World of Outlaw Track of the Year and Promoter of the Year in 2009 for our management of Dodge City Raceway Park. That means we know race tracks and know how to help you make your track work better.
CFP also has been involved in many a county fair and State Fairs. We have provided events for some of the largest including the Kansas State Fair, Nebraska State Fair, Iowa State Fair, Colorado State Fair, Wyoming State Fair, Montana Metra Fair just to name a few.

BIGFOOT is going to School in Enid

BIGFOOT MONSTER GOING TO SCHOOL
Bigfoot, the original monster truck, is going to school on Thursday in Enid. The Monroe Elementary students will get a thrill of a lifetime as Bigfoot driver Larry Swim will show up at the school just in time for lunch, with the entire student body.
Swim is in town to race at the Chisholm Trail Expo this weekend and he is excited to be part of this event,” Being the driver of the Bigfoot truck and crushing cars and racing is the greatest job, but taking the truck to school to see a sick child is something that even surpasses that feeling,” said Swim.
There is special 5th grader at Monroe who this visit is dedicated to that has acute Leukemia , and his name is Emitt Holt. Emitt is 11 years old and is and is “the perfect student and is inspirational.” says Kay Kiner, the principal at Monroe. Emitt is crazy about monster trucks and this will be a huge boost to his spirits.
The convoy will leave the Expo Center about 10:45 am with a police escort as Swim drives this 10 foot tall – 14 feet wide – and 10 thousand pound hot rod truck to school. While at Monroe Elementary the driver Larry Swim will be having lunch with the entire school then take them outside and show them this huge truck. All this is dedicated to Emitt and his fight for a healthy life.
Emitt and his brother and sister as well as his mom Carolyn will all have the VIP treatment at the Monster Truck shows. Emitt will be the one with the huge smile and all decked out in Bigfoot merchandise.
