The Monsters are marching into Sheridan June 12th

The CFP Crew is coming back to Wyoming with a double barrel big gun show that will be worth driving across the state for. Sheridan County Fairgrounds is an awesome place to watch the Monsters. We started going there back in the late 90′s and people flock to Sheridan, Wyoming from miles to see this one night of excitment. This year will be even bigger and better and with sponsors like Fremont Motors and Big Horn Powersports and Ted’s Towing.

To start it off the line-up of Monster Trucks includes the 2009 and 2010 Grand National Champion Larry Swim driving the BIGFOOT BAD BOY! Larry is not your usual Bigfoot driver, this guy is an animal when it comes to ripping up the track, the competition and the truck! He has went thru enuff parts in one year to build 3 BIGFOOT trucks and the crowd loves him for it!

Bringing BIGFOOT to Sheridan is just part of the monster truck news. The rest of the line-up of trucks is ready for BIGFOOT including the AmsOil SHOCK THEARPY truck plus BARBARIAN, EXCALIBUR, AND RAZIN KANE. All 5 of these trucks have never been to Sheridan and all 5 have has plenty of television coverage and we are excited to bring these guys to town!

There is more….we have the ever popular Tuff Truck Races and local hot shoes are welcome to enter in the races. Watching your hometown truck tear it up for the fans is fun and they need your support!

Plus something really special is our own Bad Boys of Arenacross Races head to Sheridan, Wyoming for an outdoor race in some kick butt dirt! Saturday night June 12th the Sheridan County Fairgrounds will come to life with the Monster Truck Summer Nationals and the Bad Boys Arenacross Races.

Racers from all over the state of Wyoming and Montana and probably western South Dakota will make the trek to the race and they will not be disappointed with the huge track and some knarly sections that will challenge even the best riders.

Monster Trucks and School Bus Races in Liberal June 4-5th

After this Friday and Saturday nights June 4th-5th the town of Liberal, Kansas will never be the same. 5 of the biggest and baddest Monster Trucks in the world will be coming to Liberal to redefine the meaning of excitement! Tickets are on sale now at Napa Auto Parts stores in Liberal, KS and Guymon, Oklahoma as well as at Dodge City Raceway Park. Friday night Kid’s Tickets are only 5 bucks!

Leading the charge into Liberal is one of the most legendary names in Monster Truck history, you’ve heard the name now you get to see him in person – Equalizer driven by “Mad Man” Mike Hawkins! Ready to take him to the limit, all the way from Mexico City, Mexico – one of the fastest rising stars in the sport, Hot Tamale driven by Isaiah Morales – he has one goal and that is putting on a show for the fans! Joining them to catch some air and crush some cars, making a short pull up from Oklahoma is young gun Devin Jones and the Barbarian! Devin is coming off of a winter season campaign in which he finished 3rd in the Winter Nationals point standings, combine that with a TV appearance on Speed Channel and Devin is widely considered to be one of the guys to watch in 2010. Making the pull clear up from Florida is another relative newcomer to the sport, Chris Lagana in Razin Kane. Chris loves to catch big air and put on a show for the fans, so have your camera ready when he hits the track! Last, but certainly not least, another East Coast guy making the long haul up to Liberal is Mike Barnes with his truck War Eagle. Mike loves to ride wheelies and race for the win, keep your eyes open for Mike – you just might see him in the Winner’s Circle.

These 5 trucks will be doing battle in 3 disciplines during each of the 2 shows scheduled in Liberal. Kicking off the festivities is a wild and crazy Wheelie Contest where the goal is to put the front tires in the sky and rip the tailgate off in the dirt! The Wheelie Contest finishing order will qualify these Monsters for Side by Side Racing. When the light goes green – these guys know how to get mean! Some of these guys might be friends off the track, but on the track that is the last thing that matters, Winning is the only goal! Finally, to round out each show, these trucks will let it all hang out in the crowd favorite Freestyle Competition. In Freestyle anything goes, except for going easy! Huge air, big wheelies and mud kickin, truckin spinnin donuts are only a few of the sights you’ll see during Freestyle!

Also appearing, for the first time ever at Liberal Fairgrounds Speedway – SCHOOL BUS RACES! 
That’s right!  We’re bringing those 64 passenger cheese wagons of doom to rock and roll around the speedway!  These behemoths are a handfull to race and a ton of run to watch!  We’re in contact with local business owners and local “celebrities” about driving these wild and wacky tanks – heck, we might even have a spare bus or two that we pick someone out of the crowd to drive!  How cool would that be?

Those wild and crazy Tuff Trucks will also be taking part in each show! Local drivers are encouraged to enter whatever they’ve got to race, however this event is not open to Pro-Arena type trucks or Dune Buggies! Cars, trucks, stock, modified – it’s all good, but please leave your motor-homes at home! These cars and trucks will be out on the track to run for time and to catch some big air! Tuff Trucks have been a crowd favorite for years! Expect big air, big thrills and maybe even some big spills! Local Quad riders are also encouraged to enter into the Quad Racing portion of each event, bring your 4-wheelers out and race with us! The Quads will be racing on a Speed Moto – TT Racing inspired track with fast sweeping corners and multiple jumps!
