Fan Post on Monster Mayhem

So I had a 4 day weekend (this weekend) so I decided to take my boys to the Little Rock Monster Jam. Bought my tickets weeks ago and had the whole thing planned out.

Well the winter storm came through and getting to Little Rock (3 1/2 hours east in good weather) just wasn’t going to happen.

Of course I broke the news yesterday morning and my boys were a bit (well very) disappointed. So anyway I checked the “Monster Blog” for something in the future and noticed there was a another show in Ardmore. The “Monster Truck Winter Nationals” in Ardmore, OK. (South of me so not much ice and snow in the way)

I tell you these guys did a really good job. The show kept the action going, the tractor pulls were great and the extra room of a rodeo arena (verses a hockey rink) let the trucks do big jumps and REAL racing. This was twice the fun of the Tulsa Monster Jam in January and given the choice between the two I think I will be going to Ardmore again next year.
